Rock for a Cure

Since 2010, we have put on a rock concert fundraiser called Rock for a Cure in Lloydminster, AB/SK. Every February, we are pleased to bring in some big name bands, some local bands, and even some cover bands…

I Love Alberta Boobs has partnered with the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation to support families in the Lloydminster region as they fight breast cancer.

Boobs on Bikes

Boobs on Bikes is an annual motorcycle rally held in beautiful Whitecourt, AB. We started this event in 2016 as a way to unite friends and riders in the fight against breast cancer. Breathtaking scenic routes and a bunch of bikers making a difference in people’s lives…

Testimonials

“…We really had no idea how we were going to meet our financial obligations. Then we received a call from Brandy and she said she wanted to meet with me. Brandy and her team came and gave us a cheque!”

How we started

In 2009, a group of regular women, mothers & friends across Alberta, decided to join forces and walk 60 kms through downtown Calgary, AB for The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers. Each participant needed to raise $2,000 just to walk. Over 4 years our group raised over $100,000. After those 4 years, organizers canceled the walk, due to lack of support. Our group was devastated. In 2013 our group decided to raise money on our own.

In 2017 we decided to use our funds to more directly benefit those with breast cancer. We have now partnered with The Lloydminster Health Foundation, and have created the I Love Alberta Boobs Assistance Fund. We will now be donating money to breast cancer fighters here in the Lloydminster and surrounding areas. Those currently fighting breast cancer can apply on our website or can be nominated by someone else. We will be giving out these assistance funds 4 times a year.

Since 2010 we have put on a rock concert called Rock for a Cure, in Lloydminster, SK. We have had such bands as Tupelo Honey, Default, The Trews, and Bret Michaels of Poison, Sebastian Bach of Skid Row, Art of Dying and Chronic Rock. We also hold a silent & live auction, 50/50 draw, and much more. In the years we have been holding this event, we have raised $250,000!

All of this would not be possible without the support from businesses, friends, family, and the community. We appreciate everyone’s continued support, and thank you for your consideration.
